|
In order to best safeguard its constituents, particularly its young public, the District is in
compliance with the Jake Snakenberg Youth Concussion Act. This Act requires all youth coaches
in the District to complete an annual concussion recognition education course. The Act also
requires coaches to remove from play any athlete who is suspected of having a concussion, the
athlete must have a written authorization from a health care provider in order to return to
the activity. For more information, view
State of Colorado, Senate Bill 11-040.
