Frequently Asked Questions
What is your refund policy for class registrations?
All credit and refund requests must be made at least three days prior to start of class. Refund requests are subject to a $5 service fee. Allow 7-10 days for processing. A full credit or full refund will be granted when cancellation is made by Foothills Park & Recreation District.
Please contact the appropriate programmer to request a refund. A list of programming staff can be found in the Contact Us section of our web site.
What are the district boundries?
The District boundaries are generally Hampden Avenue on the north, Sheridan Boulevard on the east and C-470 on the south and west. Other areas we serve that fall just outside the complex street boundaries are Sixth Avenue West, Mesa View Estates, Bear Creek subdivision and Lochwood subdivision. All areas served by Foothills Park & Recreation District are within unincorporated Jefferson County. You may contact any of our facilities to determine if your address is within the District boundaries.
I just moved within Foothills Park and Recreation District boundries. What do I need to do to get a resident id card?
District ID Cards may be purchased at The Peak Community & Wellness Center, The Ridge Recreation Center, The Edge Ice Arena, Lilley Gulch Recreation Center, The Meadows Golf Club, or Foothills Golf Course. There is a $5 fee for the card and it is valid for 3 years. However, the fee is waived if you purchase a facility pass or multi visit card. All family members nine and over must present a District ID card to receive reduced rates. To obtain an ID card, you must present proof that you pay taxes to the Foothills Park and Recreation District. Proof may be determined by your current Jefferson County tax statement, a valid driver’s license, or mail addressed to you from utility or phone companies.
I have an annual pass which I use daily at the Peak gym. What else will this pass give me access to? Pools, parks, etc. . .
Annual facility passes are valid at Lilley Gulch Recreation Center, the Ridge Recreation Center, The Peak, and our four outdoor pools – Columbine West, Deer Creek, 6th Ave West, and Weaver Hollow. Passes may be used for general admission use of the gym, cardio/weight room, indoor track, climbing wall, racquetball, pools, and non-instructional indoor cycling use. Passes are not applicable for golf, the Edge Ice Arena, programs/classes, or drop-in gymnastics.
How do I purchase a multi-visit pass?
You may purchase multi visit cards in person at the Ridge Recreation Center, Lilley Gulch Recreation Center, the Peak Community and Wellness Center, or the Edge Ice Arena. The “visits” are loaded onto your Foothills ID Card so if you do not currently have a Foothills ID Card you will be issued one at the time you purchase the multi visit card. Multi visit cards may be used for group exercise classes, water exercise classes, drop-in facility use, public skate admission, and drop-in gymnastics regardless of where the cards are purchased, so you may purchase one at the center most convenient to you.
