Directions To Park
The general vicinity of the Dutch Creek Greenbelts is on the south side of W. Coal Mine Ave. between S. Webster St. and S. Yukon St. From the intersection of S. Pierce St. and W. Coal Mine Ave. head west on W. Coal Mine Ave. to the stoplight at S. Webster St. There are no parking lots available and we suggest parking along park frontage on secondary streets.

Park Description
These undeveloped greenbelt parcels provide buffer for the adjacent neighborhoods and wildlife habitat. The Dutch Creek Regional Trail runs through these greenbelts.

Comments
No dedicated trailheads. A good starting point is Leawood's Weaver Park. The trail follows the creek west to Pierce St. A box culvert under Pierce St. provides trail access to the west side of Pierce St. Continuing west through Dutch Creek Greenbelts the trail briefly ends at the intersection of W. Coal Mine Ave. and S. Yukon St., but continues one block south of the intersection on the west side of S. Yukon St. From there, the trail continues west to S. Wasworth Blvd.

Park History
The greenbelts were acquired by Foothills through various Senate Bill 35 land dedications beginning in the early 1980s.
