From the intersection of S. Simms St. and W. Belleview Ave. head north on Simms to W. Chenango Dr. Turn right on W. Chenango Dr.
to S. Queen St. Turn right on S. Queen St. and travel a few blocks to the park. There is no parking lot and we suggest parking
on S. Queen St.

Park Description
This is a small, non-irrigated park and generally not considered a destination park. The main feature
of the park is a stormwater detention basin that attracts a small population of songbirds.

Park History
This park was dedicated to Foothills in 1992 through Senate Bill 35 land dedication requirements. Shortly after the park was
dedicated to Foothills, staff worked with the Colorado Division of Wildlife to establish native shrubs on the south side of
the detention basin.
