Directions To Park
From the intersection of S. Simms St. and W. Belleview Ave. head west on W. Belleview Ave. one mile to S. Alkire St.
Turn right on S. Alkire St. to S. Cole St. Turn left on S. Cole St. one block to the park located on the east side of
Cole St. across from Kendallvue Elementary School. There is no parking lot. Suggest parking on Cole St.

Park Description
This is an undeveloped park site. The Weaver Gulch Regional Trail runs through the south end of the park.

Comments
The trail begins in Harriman Lake Park and heads west through the park. Leaving Harriman Lake Park, it runs adjacent to
Quincy Ave. and the Lakehurst Village Subdivision before entering the Donkey Hill Greenbelt. The trail swings around Donkey
Hill and crosses under Simms St through a dedicated box culvert. From here the trail parallels the Weaver Creek drainage and
continues west to Weaver Hollow Park and Pool. From Weaver Hollow, it continues west to Weaver Creek Park where the trail dead
ends at Cole St. Trail head is located at Harriman Lake Park. Weaver Hollow Park and Pool is another excellent starting point.
Park History
Most of this park was acquired in 1981 through Senate Bill 35 land dedication requirements. An additional ten acres was
acquired by Jefferson County Open Space, Foothills, and a grant from Greater Outdoors Colorado in February 2003.
