Alpers Farm Neighborhood Park
A portion of the Master Plan will be under construction in 2008. This project is being funded entirely by a Joint Venture Grant from Jefferson County Open Space and a grant from D.R. Horton, the neighborhood developer. Foothills has formed a park committee with members of the Alpers Farm HOA to help choose playground equipment.
Playground Replacement Projects
A Joint Venture Grant from Jefferson County Open Space has provided funding for playground replacement at Woodmar Square Park and Easton Regional Park. Foothills Staff will be coordinating with neighbors on project details.
Clement Park Capital Repairs
In June 2008, a Joint Venture Grant from Jefferson County Open Space enabled Foothills to repaint the metal shelter roofs and replace the park road leading to Columbine Library. Foothills will also use the funding on repairs for embankment and pier structures around Johnston Reservoir.
