Music Programs

Our music program provides a variety of classes for many different
age groups. Crocodile Rock is the perfect class for your child age
18 months-5 years. This class helps your child to develop an early
appreciation for music in a social atmosphere. We also offer guitar
classes for all levels and abilities from beginner to advanced musicians.

Theatre Programs

Do you have a wild imagination? Acting Classes will help you take that
imagination and turn it into improvisation! The goal of the theatre, drama and
performing arts is to provide a fun learning environment that
will instill positive risk taking, confidence, self-esteem, and
problem solving skills.

Night of the Stars Talent Show
|
Foothills and Dakota Ridge High School are proud to present a local competition of the Night of the Stars Talent Show on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Dakota Ridge H.S. Auditorium (13399 W. Coal Mine Ave., Littleton, CO).
Auditions will be held at the Peak Community & Wellness Center on Thursday, February 16, 2012: 4-7 p.m. First place winners of each category and age group will move on to the State Talent Show on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Vista Ridge H.S. in Aurora.

Night of the Stars is a Colorado Parks & Recreation Association sponsored multi-organizational talent show for grades K-12. The concept and competition has run for the past seven years with Foothills joining into the program in 2011 along with 8 other metro Denver cities and municipalities. We are very thankful for the support of Dakota Ridge High School and grant funding from the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).

The mission of Foothills Park & Recreation District's Cultural Arts Agency is to create, establish, put on, and provide
classes and opportunities for District-wide cultural arts services for the benefit of the taxpayers of the District.
Services to include fine and leisure arts, performing arts, culturally related special events, art shows and concert series.
