Teens and Pre-teens

Foothills Park & Recreation District offers a variety of recreational opportunities
for pre-teens and teens. We offer classes and programs to develop and enhance many
of their qualities such as leadership and interpersonal skills. Join our Youth Council,
have fun with your friends on our excursions or spend the summer with us in our Leaders
in Training camp. Register now for current opportunities and check back often as new
opportunities will be posted as they become available.

| Excursions
When school is out – are you looking for something to do? Hit the slopes to ski or snowboard,
challenge yourself with outdoor adventures, go indoor skydiving, cheer on your home teams at
sporting events or enjoy a day at local entertainment venues throughout Denver. There's something for everyone!

Youth Council
We are looking for 6th-12th graders from public, private and home school to join the
Foothills Park & Recreation District Youth Council. This program allows teens to develop
strong leadership skills and create positive change in their community. Apply now or

Winter, Spring and Summer Camps
Foothills provides pre-teens and teens with a diverse and enriching camp experience. In addition to Teen Camp, we offer Leaders in Training Camp.

Babysitting Classes
The Babysitter’s Training Course will teach youth the skills
needed to be a confident and responsible babysitter. We offer two types of
classes: one providing certification in CPR, the other will only review and
practice First Aid/CPR skills. All students will receive a Babysitter Certification.
