The open carrying of any firearm is prohibited at all Foothills Park & Recreation District parks, trails, golf courses, and facilities pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute 29-11.7-104.
In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, Foothills Park & Recreation District will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities. This requires the District to ensure that persons with disabilities seeking information or services, have access to and use of information and data that is comparable to the access and use by persons who are not individuals with disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed on the District.
Foothills Park & Recreation District will generally, upon request, provide appropriate aids and services leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so they can participate equally in District programs, services and activities. These include qualified sign language interpreters, documents in Braille, and other ways of making information and communications accessible to people who have speech, hearing or vision impairments.
Foothills Park & Recreation District will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services and activities. For example, individuals with service animals are permitted in Foothills facilities, even where pets are generally prohibited.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity, should contact (303) 409-2118, or email@example.com as soon as possible but no later than 10 days before the class/activity.
In compliance with Colorado State HB21-1110, we are working to comply with WCAG 2.1+ Level AA digital accessibility standards. In the meantime, if you have difficulty accessing our website or have any comments or feedback, please do not hesitate to contact us at (303) 409-2118 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
