I have been personal training for over 22 years and I hold a B.S. in Nutrition from the University of New Mexico (Go Lobos!). I was a collegiate and international swimmer and have been around athletics my whole life, including following my husband around Europe while he played professional basketball. My love for exercise began at a young age and continued to grow watching my paralyzed grandfather workout consistently 3 hours every day. Seeing the effects exercise and nutrition had on contributing to a long and healthy life was inspiring, and becoming a trainer only seemed natural. In my spare time- I love hanging with my family & friends, traveling, as well as competing in triathlons, swimming & running events.

Dina Grimaldi, Personal Trainer
Personal quote: “Consistency, moderation, and balance are the keys to success.”

My love for fitness began growing up as a competitive swimmer before following in my father’s footsteps and delving into the triathlon community. I did my first triathlon on a mountain bike, quickly learning it wasn’t all that cool to be the first person out of the water, because it just meant everybody and their mother would pass you on the bike. Since then, I’ve tackled many challenges including a full Ironman, and I now coach other athletes to help them reach their goals. Along the way, I’ve discovered a passion for health and fitness across all communities, not just triathlon. Whether it be functional strength training, performance, a healthy relationship with food, or any other goal, I strive to use my knowledge and my own experiences to guide others to become strong, healthy, and confident individuals throughout their lives.

I am passionate about assisting individuals to help them reach their fitness goals. I strive to increase function and performance with individuals through an integrated approach to fitness. The foundation of my training philosophy is inspired by a series of injuries and procedures that disrupted my active lifestyle for a number of years. I responded to this situation by becoming knowledgeable about mobility, nutrition, and sports performance. I am motivated to share my knowledge to help individuals pursue their passions with confidence.

In my free time, I like to go on hiking and camping trips, shoot hoops, and exercise.

Kimberly Spallone, Personal Trainer
Personal quote: “Strong body, strong mind!”

My interest in fitness and health began at home as a kid – my parents were always interested in eating healthy fresh foods and exercising daily. My interest grew when I began working for gyms throughout college. I decided at that point to include health and fitness in my career. After college, I began working in a local health food store in the supplement department. I found that I really enjoyed it! After eight years working in supplements, I decided to also follow my other passion and started a new career as a Personal Trainer. Now I can share my enthusiasm about fitness, supplements and healthy eating. In my spare time I enjoy weight lifting, swimming, cooking & hiking.
