Park Description
A bluegrass irrigated park. This park shares a common boundary with Sanctuary Park which is located immediately south of Eagle Meadows Park.

Park Amenities
Playground, park shelter, two unlighted tennis courts with pickleball lines (bring your own pickleball net), basketball pad, one multiuse athletic field, ponds located close by in Sanctuary Park. Note: the ponds were drained and rebuilt in 2000. There are no reports on fish populations and this site is not listed as a fishing resource at this time.

Trails
The granite sand surface trail warrants an Easy to Moderate rating. From the east, the trail begins in Sanctuary Park at the park frontage on W. Glasgow Ave. Note: the Sanctuary Park Glasgow Ave. frontage is located ¼ mile east of the Eagle Meadows Glasgow frontage. The trail follows the North Tributary of SJCD South drainage as it heads west toward Eagle Meadows Park. The trail continues west to the apartment complex where the granite sand trail surface turns to a concrete surface. The trail winds through the apartment complex and ends at W. Ken Caryl Ave.

Two short concrete sidewalks lead from W. Glasgow Ave. to the south end of the park. Either sidewalk will lead you to the trail that runs through Sanctuary Park.

Park History
The park was originally called Meadows Park #1. The original park featured a small retention pond and wetlands that followed the North Tributary of SJCD South drainage. The pond was drained and rebuilt and divided into 3 ponds by the Meadows Sanctuary developer in 2000.

Directions To Park
From the intersection of S. Kipling Pkwy and W. Coal Mine Ave. head south on S. Kipling Pkwy to the stoplight at W. Meadows Dr., turn right on W. Meadows Dr. and travel to W. Glasgow Ave. Turn right on W. Glasgow Ave. to the park frontage located on the south side of Glasgow. There is no parking lot and we suggest parking along the park frontage on W. Glasgow Ave.
