We are committed to providing financial assistance to low-income District residents by providing a percent subsidy to programs and services for those who qualify.
The District’s Board of Directors has approved up to $20,000 annually for a district resident financial assistance fund. In addition, The Foothills Foundation contributes funds to provide District resident low-income families with the opportunity to participate in our recreation programs.
The Financial Assistance Program is available to District residents and in the case of licensed childcare it is also available to children currently attending any of our before & after care programs located in Jefferson County Public School sites.
Financial assistance may be awarded for recreation facility passes, programs, or on-going programs and assistance grants will be limited to three months. Applicants will be eligible for one renewal annually.
