Red, White & You is a FREE patriotic, community event focusing on fun for the whole family!
Red, White & You is the largest free community event in South Jefferson County. Geared toward all ages and designed to bring the community together, attendance is estimated at 35,000+ annually. The event includes kids’ activities, live entertainment, food concessions, community business booths, beer & wine garden, and a fireworks display.

Event Hours: 5 – 10 pm, event runs rain or shine. Admission is free.

No business or person acting on behalf of a business is permitted to solicit to spectators of this event within the confines of Clement Park without a vendor permit issued by Foothills Park & Recreation District. Anyone doing so without a permit specific for Red, White & You will be asked to leave by a Jefferson County Sheriff Deputy.

Prohibited at this event for Safety Reasons:

  • NO Pets, leave them at home for their safety and sanity.

  • NO Large Canopy Tents, Staked Umbrellas or Ground Stakes of any kind.

    • Small, personal shade devices like handheld umbrellas and umbrellas that attach on lawn chairs are allowed.
  • NO unauthorized vehicles like golf carts, e-motorbikes, all-terrain vehicles, etc. These are prohibited in all Foothills properties, parks and trails.

Approved shade structure - can not be staked into the ground.

Know Before You Go

  • NO Large Canopy Tents, Staked Umbrellas or Ground Stakes
    • Small, personal shade devices like handheld umbrellas and small umbrellas that attach on lawn chairs are allowed.
  • NO Pets, leave them at home for their safety and sanity
  • NO Unauthorized Vehicles like golf carts, e-motorbikes, all-terrain vehicles, etc.
  • NO personal fireworks
  • NO portable grills or glass bottles
  • Due to space constraints, no parking of oversized vehicles like Recreational Vehicles (RVs).  Additionally, no parking will be allowed on the frontage road in Clement Park on July 3.
  • NO littering – Please use trash receptacles or carry your trash out
  • NO marijuana or illegal substances – Public consumption of marijuana is prohibited by Colorado State Law
  • Red, White & You is a No Drone Zone – remote control devices are not permitted in Clement Park

Info, Tips & Schedule

  • Admission is free.
  • Event runs rain or shine.
  • Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
  • Bring sunscreen, bug spray, water and small flashlight to use post-event.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for lots of walking.
  • Food and beverages are available for purchase.
  • Kids Zone Area features: ticketed bounce houses, 9 hole mini-golf course, free entertainment, food vendors, restrooms and fireworks viewing.
  • 5 p.m.  Event Starts!  Community & Sponsor Booths, Kids Zone Area, Beer & Wine Gardens, and Food Vendors.
  • 5 p.m. until dusk  Kids Zone Area attractions on lower soccer field
    • Showcasing ticketed bounce houses, 9 hole mini-golf course, food vendors, restrooms and fireworks viewing.
  • 9:30 p.m– Fireworks Display south of the Amphitheater
    • Please note that the firework fallout zone will be marked and fenced. It is very important to stay out of the firework fallout area.
    • Fireworks display is weather and fire-ban dependent.
      • As of Monday, June 29 at 1 pm – Foothills is working closely with Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Wildland Fire Support and South Metro Fire. At this time, we will have fireworks on July 3. If anything changes between now and July 3, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will make that determination and we will update this webpage and our social media channels.
    • Time of fireworks launch could change without notice due to weather.
    • Fireworks viewing can be achieved anywhere in the park.
  • 10 p.m.  Event Ends
  • Restrooms: Port-o-Lets will be located throughout the event area including the Kids Zone Area.
  • Lost & Found -and- First Aid: Located at the Foothills Park & Recreation District tent (near the large playground).
  • No Parking will be allowed on the frontage road in Clement Park on July 3.

Event Parking, Dropping Off, Picking Up

  • Parking is limited, carpooling is highly recommended.
  • Parking options available in:
    • Clement Park
      • All parking inside of Clement Pak is first come first served.
      • Additional Handicap ONLY parking spots available in the lots near the Inclusive Playground and Amphitheater area.
      • Patron parking available in lots on the east side of the park, utilize the Pierce Street entrance.
    • Columbine High School
    • Southwest Plaza Mallview mall map for event parking location
  • When Clement Park parking lots are full, entrances into the park will be closed to vehicles (lots typically will fill up between 6-7 p.m.)
  • Vehicles are only allowed to drive on designated roads and park in designated lots.
    • PROHIBITED in all Foothills properties, parks and trailsunauthorized vehicles like golf carts, e-motorbikes, all-terrain vehicles, etc.
  • Do NOT park at the Columbine Library.
  • No parking will be allowed on the frontage road in Clement Park on July 3.
  • Due to space constraints, oversized vehicles like Recreational Vehicles (RVs) are asked not to park in Clement Park for this event.
  • No overnight parking or camping.
  • If you drop off anyone in the park for the event, you will NOT be able to drive back into the park until 11 p.m. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office priority is to safely clear traffic out of Clement Park immediately following the end of the event.
  • No shuttle services provided.
  • No bike valet or protected bike parking provided.
  • No designated ride-share pick-up location provided.
  • Do NOT park in shopping center lots in the vicinity of Clement Park. These are private properties and each property owner has the right to tow vehicles.
