Our Active Adult Programs offer a variety of opportunities for everyone! Join us and experience what a balanced blend of mental, social and physical wellness is all about!

Enjoy a variety of fun events for all adults including our favorite events listed below!

Excursions

Experience interesting locations in Colorado without having to drive! Registration price always includes transportation. Prices vary based on activity.

  • Friday, April 10: Dazzle Jazz Club “Throwback Friday: Janis Joplin.”
  • Saturday, May 16: Denver Center for Performing Arts, “MJ.”
  • Friday, May 22: Dinner + Parker Arts Center, Parker Symphony Orchestra, “Celebrating America” concert.
  • Thursday, June 4: Colorado History Museum, “Moments That Made Us” + Lunch on site.
  • Monday, June 8: Black Hawk Casinos.  Transportation ONLY.  All activities are at your own cost.
  • Friday June 12: Lakewood Cultural Center, “My Fair Lady.”
  • Saturday, June 20: Candlelight Concert: “Tribute to Fleetwood Mac.” Legendary music played live by a quartet of string musicians, under the glow of thousands of candles.
  • Wednesday, June 24: Colorado Rockies vs. Boston Red Sox.
  • Monday, July 6: Black Hawk Casinos. Transportation ONLY.  All activities are at your own cost.
  • Thursday, July 16: Terry Bison Ranch, WY: Train Ride, Bison Experience, Lunch.
  • Sunday, July 26: Fairplay, Burro Days Festival.
  • Friday, July 31: DCPA, “The Sound of Music.”
  • Wednesday, August 5: Balistreri Vineyards: Tour, Lunch and Wine Tasting.
  • Saturday, August 15: Yetman Farms, Pick Your Own Flower Bouquet & Breakfast at Fox Hollow Golf Course.  
  • Saturday, August 22: Summer Sunset Concert and America 250/Colorado 150 Drone Show. Bring your own picnic dinner.

Registration is required for all events and activities, even if it promoted as being free. Prices vary based on activity.

Health Presentation

  • Friday, August 14: Free – Alzheimer’s Association, “Communicating Effectively and Dealing with Dementia Related Behaviors.”

Visiting Nurses Association’s Foot Clinic

  • There is no registration for this clinic. You MUST call 303-698-6496 to sign up.
  • Price is $55 or insurance.
  • Held the first Tuesday of each month from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Peak Community & Wellness Center.

Clubs

Monthly participation price, per club of $5 (non-district $7), to view the seasonal date span for each club and to register online, use the button below.

  • Book Club, meets once monthly: third Thursday of each month, 1 – 3:30 pm
    • April 16, May 21, June 18, July 16, August 20, September 17, October 15, November 19, December 17
  • Bridge, Party Bridge played: Tuesdays, 1 – 4 pm
  • Hand, Knee & Foot Card Game: Tuesdays, 1 – 4 pm
  • Helpful Hands Knitting & Crochet: Fridays, 10 am – 12 pm
  • Mahjongg: Wednesdays 1 – 4 pm

Extended Travel

Travel with a group of 55+ year old travelers from Foothills Active Adults Program to various destinations. Whether you’re a party of one or many, these trips are tailored for group travel geared specifically for older adults (55+).

Extended Travel Informational Meetings

Learn details of each trip including daily itinerary, deposit, important dates and more.  This is an opportunity to ask all the questions you have about each trip. 

Premier World Discovery

  • Switzerland & Christmas Markets of the Rhine – November 30 – December 8, 2026
