Park Description
This is a large native grass undeveloped park. The park’s main feature is the topography. Most of the park is a north-facing slope, which has traditionally been used as a sledding hill. There is a prairie dog colony located on the eastern 10 acres of the park. The North Tributary of SJCD South drainage flows across the northern end of the park.

Park Amenities
A few park benches are located at the top of the hill.

No designated trails at this park.

Park History
The park was slated for commercial development before it was purchased by Jefferson County Open Space in 1999. Foothills leases this park from Jefferson County Open Space.

Directions To Park
Located at the northwest corner of S. Kipling Pkwy and W. Ken Caryl Ave. Very limited parking on W. Ken Caryl Ave. and we suggest parking at either Eagle Meadows Park or Sanctuary Park.
