Park Description
This park is a combination of irrigated bluegrass developed park and non-irrigated native grass greenbelts. Raccoon Creek runs through the park and greenbelts providing cattail wetlands along the margin.  The trail system meanders through the main park and greenbelts.

Park History
The main park and greenbelts were dedicated to Foothills as part of Senate Bill 35 land dedication requirements for the Sunrise Creek Subdivision. The developer built the playground, bluegrass turf and irrigation system at the main park and also built the trails. The parcels of land were dedicated to Foothills beginning in 1997 through 1999.

Directions To Park
From the intersection of S. Simms St. and W. Belleview Ave., head south on Simms a few blocks to W. Progress Pl. The park is located on the southeast corner of S. Simms St. and W. Progress Pl. There is no parking lot and we suggest parking on W. Progress Pl. at the park frontage.
