We’re so excited to launch a fresh new look for Foothills Magazine, the official publication of Foothills Park & Recreation District. This redesign comes after months of careful thought about how we could bring the most value to our residents, while still maintaining the community feel we’ve always strived to provide.
A clean and modern design helps you find the information you need more easily, while highlighting the new, exciting programs and events that Foothills offers each season. An expanded facilities section shows you the perfect place to go to find all the amenities you need. And, new parks and event pages give stunning visuals of all the fun to be had outdoors this summer.
Another new component of the magazine are featured articles, bringing you behind the scenes stories about the people that make our community special. This month we delve into the cursed history of a famous play, making a return to Shakespeare in Clement Park this year. We tell the heartwarming story of two of our own Foothills employees who found common connection through serving their communities and got married at one of the District’s facilities, Peak Community & Wellness Center. And, we look at a new playground that began with the dreams of third graders and became a reality.
