Park Description
This park is a mile long linear park along the Massey Draw drainage. The park is not irrigated but features 3 separate activity areas and extensive wetlands along Massey Draw. A small 4-acre pond is located at the corner of S. Carr St. and W. Ute Ave.

Park Amenities
Two playgrounds, picnic shelter and a concrete surface basketball court.

Fishing
A 1.85 surface acre pond is located at the southeast corner of the park. Average depth is 4’. Bluegill, bass, and carp are regularly caught by the neighborhood kids. Colorado Division of Wildlife fishing rules enforced. Swimming, boating, wading, belly boats, and ice fishing are prohibited.

Park History
The park was acquired in 1985 as part of Senate Bill 35 land dedications for the Wingate South Subdivision. In 1995 Foothills leased a one acre parcel of land from Jefferson County Open Space at the southwest corner of the park.

Directions To Park
This park is a mile long linear park between S. Garrison St. and S. Carr St. along the Massey Draw drainage. Directions to the park will guide you to the three park frontages on Field St. and Toller Ave. From the intersection of S. Kipling Pkwy and W. Chatfield Ave. head east on W. Chatfield Ave. to S. Garrison St. Turn right on S. Garrison St. and travel 1/4 mile to Field St. Turn left on Field St. Note that Field St. turns into Toller Ave. As you travel the one mile distance from Garrison St. to Carr St. you will notice 3 separate park frontages on the south side of the street. Two of the park frontages feature playgrounds and the third features a basketball court. There is no parking lot and we suggest parking along the park frontages.
