Welcome to the Splash Park in Clement Park!

This facility will open on THURSDAY, JULY 2 in a limited capacity with restrictions by reservation only. We are following all State of Colorado and Jefferson County public health orders related to COVID-19.
Thank you for your patience as we operate under new protocols.

What you need to know BEFORE arriving

Beginning Thursday, July 2, the Clement Park Splash Park will open in a limited capacity by reservation only. Hours of operation listed below.

  • We ask all patrons to refrain from using a facility if exhibiting any signs of sickness and to self-monitor before arriving to a facility.
  • The area will be fenced in.  Reservations will be required for admission. 90-minute sessions will be available with 30 minutes in between for cleaning. Reservations may be made 7 days in advance and are limited to one reservation per person, per day.  Maximum of 8 people per group/visit.
  • All reservations are first come, first served.
  • Admission is $2.00 per person (newborns to crawling are free). To adhere to physical distancing requirements, every individual (babies included) must have a reservation. 
  • PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. To adhere to physical distancing requirements, every individual (babies included) MUST have a reservation. 
  • At this time, walk-ins are not allowed.
  • Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early for your session. When your arrive to the facility, you will be greeted to confirm your reservation, then proceed to pay for entry by cash or credit card.
  • No spectators will be allowed in the facility. Only patrons with a reservation will be allowed entry.
  • Masks are required to be worn at all times for all activity.  Reveiw the Mask Order details. You will not be admitted into a facility without one. You should take your mask off while in the spray features. Masks are encouraged whenever you are in crowded spaces, either indoors or outdoors – this includes the Splash Park if you are not in the spray features.
  • Employees will be wearing face coverings when interacting with patrons and other employees.
  • All patrons must adhere to 6-foot physical distancing protocols at all times. Facility signage will be posted to assist with social distancing.
  • Restroom will be open. Water fountains will not be available.
  • Bring your own hand sanitizer.
  • We ask you come dressed and ready for your activity and limit personal belongings.
  • Patrons must immediately leave the facility when their session time is over, no congregating inside or outside of facility.
SPLASH PARK – Safety Protocols:
  • The water feature is unsupervised. All persons using the water feature do so at their own risk.
  • Children ages 5 and under must be accompanied into the water feature by an adult (age 18+) WITHIN ARM’S REACH.
  • Children ages 6-8 must be accompanied by someone age 12+, into the water feature area.
  • Please vacate the water feature when the forecast calls for thunder or lightning.
  • Do not climb, hang, swing, or pull on any of the water feature equipment.
  • Running or rough play is strictly prohibited.
  • OUTDOOR WEATHER POLICY: Safety is our top priority, and we will close in case of severe weather, but will re-open 30 minutes after severe weather passes. If the weather is below 65 degrees and the forecast calls for 65 degrees or below, we will not open.
  • Foothills Park & Recreation District reserves the right to remove any patron for not adhering to the policies.
  • No Dogs (ADA service dogs permitted).
  • A rain check will be issued for mechanical or weather related disruptions.
  • Additional rules and policies stated below.
Please be patient with our employees. This process is new to us, as it is to you. We appreciate you following these rules and health protocols so that our facilities may remain open and we can continue serving you.

Water features may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance or other operational concerns.

We want you to know...

Water is a precious commodity in Colorado. Water in the Splash Park area is recycled and chemically treated.  Additionally, a wind sensor will control the water pressure when wind conditions are high to reduce over spray and waste.

What to wear

  • Swimsuits and/or appropriate attire must be worn at all times.
  • Swim diapers or plastic pants are required for all children who are not toilet trained.
  • Footwear/sandals are strongly recommended.

Absolutely not allowed

  • No food and/or beverages of any kind  within the water feature. Food/beverage should be kept at the shelters or on grass.
  • No glass containers or breakable objects
  • No dogs/pets allowed in the water per health code (ADA service animals permitted)
  • No skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, and/or scooters
  • No athletic equipment, balls, bats, beach balls, noodles, etc.
  • Misuse, modification or placing foreign objects in the spray jets

All State, Wildlife & Local Laws Apply

Foothills Park & Recreation District reserves the right to remove a participant/spectator from the park for violating any of the above rules or engaging in illegal, disruptive, destructive, or inappropriate behavior.

Food, Beverages & Sundries

  • Snack Bar – located within the Splash Park area
  • Concessions by Robert’s Italian Deli – located in the center of the softball complex, offering a variety of on-site prepared meals like sandwiches, hamburgers, french fries, nachos, etc.


During COVID-19 and required operational adjustments, shelters will be open for use as shade and to assist with physical distancing requirements.  Shelters in the Splash Park will not be available for rentals in 2020.
