Master Plan

New Master Planning Process Underway

Where we’re headed…

Moving Foothills Forward

As part of our ongoing effort to enhance and improve your parks and recreational experiences, Foothills is developing a new master plan to help guide the future of parks, trails, recreation and golf facilities, programs and services across the District.

Engagement and community feedback will occur August – October 2026 which will shape the new master plan to be released in 2027.

Where we are…

Vision 2030 Master Plan

The District’s existing master plan was developed and released in 2016 to help guide decision making related to capital needs and service improvements until the year 2030. The process included a comprehensive community survey; meetings with the public and staff to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; and a thorough analysis by staff to develop recommendations in each area of the District.
